This was our first fall at the farm and the colors did not disappoint. The summer was a bit dryer than usual, and the leaves showed up a bit late, or so we were told. For a few weeks we were awash in warm hues and clear skies and everyday was a new vision of nature that stopped us in our tracks.

These are our apple tree saplings looking well tended, however we will shelter them from the winter and plant them first thing this spring.

Our cover crop of tillage radish, clover, and winter rye. Planted on our growbeds (although we'll be rebuilding those beds this spring).
